In the framework of the research activities of CIMAB (Centro Interuniversitario per la Matematica Applicata alla Biolgia Medicina e Ambiente) and of the GASVA Group (Gruppo di Attività per le Scienze della Vita e dell'Ambiente) of SIMAI (Societa' Italiana per la Matematica Applicata ed Industriale) a workshop on Theoretical Approaches and Related Mathematical Methods in Biology and Medicine and Environment will be held at the Department of Mathematics, Via C. Saldini 50, Milano, Italy during April 4-6, 2013.

The main aim is to generate a common and friendly scientific platform for the exchange of ideas and open problems in the areas of interest of CIMAB and GASVA-SIMAI.
