Mathematical modeling and numerical simulations for classical, quantistic and relativistic fluids

This research line concerns both the mathematical modelization and the numerical simulations for fluid systems in classical, quantistic and relativistic conditions. In particular, the dynamics of fluids (ideal, viscous, non-Newtonian) is studied at all scales of interest for the applications: from cosmology, to engineering, climate, bio-fluidics at different scales, namely electronic, nuclear and subnuclear.

Here below the main topics of recent interst.

Theoretical fluidodinamics, computational fluidodynamics, mechanics of continua, statistical mechanics, optimization, convection problems in porous media, general relativity, extended theories of gravity.
