March 19-22, 2019, Department of Mathematics (Aula Magna Gismondi), University of Tor Vergata, Rome.
IAC will contribute with D. Mansutti, Invited Speaker.
The workshop aims to provide a forum for discussion, exchange and collaboration on the most recent mathematical developments in earth and space sciences. Addressed topics include:
mathematical models for space debris and air traffic
stability of planets and satellites
data analysis in cosmology
numerical techniques in plasma physics
uncertainty quantification
mathematical models in climatology
The workshop is part of a series of scientific activities, organized by the Department of Mathematics of the University of Rome Tor Vergata, in the years 2018-2022, under the auspices of the program "Departments of Excellence", supported by the Italian Ministry ofEducation, University and Research (MIUR).
